Fancy a private jet?

Instead of buying one, just hire an aircraft and fly around on your own schedule

Let’s face it: domestic air travel is in shambles, with disgruntled staff and bankruptcy staring carriers in the face. The obvious solution? A private jet. But that’s hardly the most practical solution for the well-heeled-yet-not mogul level business traveller: ie, you.

Luckily, there’s Invision Air, providing luxury jet charters – the fleet of Phenom 100s (and soon Phenom 300s, which will fly some international routes, like Dubai and Thailand) have interiors designed by BMW – to get you from point A to B (they’re equipped to use 200 domestic airports) on your own schedule.

As co-founder and managing director Vinit Phatak tells GQ, “The most precious resource for the modern gentleman is time; flying with Invision Air, he gets more of it”. A charter from Delhi to Mumbai sets you back approx Rs 3.9 lakh plus taxes – but for frequent flyers, there’s the Jet Card membership that, among other advantages, offers reduced prices on package deals.
